Herbert Smith Freehills advises Tata Communications on its acquisition of a majority equity stake in Oasis Smart SIM Europe

Leading international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Tata Communications, a global digital ecosystem enabler, on its acquisition of a 58.1% majority equity stake in Oasis Smart SIM Europe (Oasis), a France-headquartered embedded-SIM (eSIM) technology provider. 

Oasis develops and provides advanced technologies and personalised services to enable the deployment of eSIM and SIM technologies. With this investment, eSIM technology will be fully integrated into Tata Communications MOVE^TM, enabling an end-to-end embedded connectivity solution and strengthening Tata Communications MOVE™ as a single source platform for global enterprise mobility needs.

Herbert Smith Freehills advised Tata Communications with a Paris-based team consisted of corporate partner Frédéric Bouvet, assisted by associate Hugues Colombani; and employment partner Emma Röhsler.
