Herbert Smith Freehills hat den Flughafeninvestor und -manager AviAlliance und seine Minderheitsmitgesellschafter im Zusammenhang mit dem Verkauf des Flughafens Budapest an ein Konsortium bestehend aus der staatlichen ungarischen Corvinus Zrt. und dem französischen Co-Investor Vinci Airports beraten.
Die Transaktion wurde erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Alle erforderlichen behördlichen Genehmigungen waren zuvor eingeholt worden. Der Eigentumsübergang auf das Käuferkonsortium wurde daher sofort wirksam.
AviAlliance war seit dem Jahr 2007 in den Flughafen investiert, der die ungarische Hauptstadt und das Land bedient.
