Leading international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) has announced the promotion of 62 senior associates across all practices in Australia.
The promotions are part of the firms’ annual global senior associate promotion round with 150 promoted in total. It will come into effect from 1 July 2024.
HSF has also promoted four senior managers in its Digital Legal Delivery practice, a newly launched global and multidisciplinary group that leverages technology to deliver legal services.
Kristin Stammer, Executive Partner - Asia and Australia, said: “We have promoted our largest cohort of senior associates in the last five years. We recognise potential and reward outstanding performance at our firm - and career progression is a big part of that.
“The promotions this year demonstrate our continued focus on supporting our people's professional and personal growth, while also strengthening our senior expertise within our market- leading practices.
“I would like to congratulate each of our new senior associates and senior managers on their promotion and thank them for their continued contribution to our clients and our firm.”
The latest promotion round follows the firm’s promotion of nine partners and ten Executive Counsel this year.
