Private Capital Day: Milan office hosts industry leaders

Our Milan office recently had the pleasure of hosting 'Private Capital Day', an insightful conference organized in collaboration with leading Italian financial publication, Financecommunity. This event drew an impressive attendance of over 140 professionals from various sectors, including banking, private equity, real estate, and investment management.

The conference featured two pivotal roundtable discussions. The first, titled "Trends and Future Expectations of Private Capital," was expertly moderated by Augusto Santoro. The panel featured leading speakers such as Nicola Iorio, Managing Partner at PFH Palladio Holding; Fiammetta Roccia, Head of Permanent Capital at H14; and Marco Ruini, Managing Partner at ABC Company S.p.A.

This discussion provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of private capital, both globally and within Italy. Key topics included the diversification of structures and instruments in alternative finance, the notable increase in investments during the latter half of 2023 and early 2024, with a particular focus on medium-sized deals and minority stakes. Additionally, the panel explored the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in the realm of private equity, underscoring its significance in shaping future trends.
