Herbert Smith Freehills is pleased to be advising Banking Circle S.A. (Banking Circle), the innovative, tech-driven payments bank, on its proposed acquisition of Australian Settlements Limited, an Australian settlement and payment services provider.
Banking Circle, headquartered in Luxembourg, was founded in 2013 and is a leading international provider of next-generation banking services and financial infrastructure to banks and payment business.
The transaction is being led by M&A partner Amelia Morgan and financial services regulatory partner Charlotte Henry. The team also includes partner Peter Jones, senior associates David Curley and Kosta Hountalas, and solicitor Nick Venn.
