Herbert Smith Freehills is joining with the London Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation to conduct a new Mediation in Arbitration Survey.
The survey should provide a valuable opportunity to ascertain the current take-up of mediation in international arbitration. The survey also aims to identify the stages of the dispute at which such mediations most commonly occur, their claim values and settlement rates.
We are interested in hearing the experiences of mediators, whether or not they have already conducted mediations of disputes which would be resolved by arbitration if not settled. Mediators are invited to click here to complete the short survey online.
We hope that the survey will enable us to identify the current profile of mediation in international arbitration and look forward to sharing the results of the survey in due course.
