The challenges that countries in sub-Saharan Africa were dealing with prior to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic have not disappeared and are continuing to alter the outlook in the region. This webinar will consider the trajectories of politics, industry and investment in sub-Saharan Africa amidst a climate of increasing debt levels, collapsing commodity prices and leadership struggles.
The webinar will be chaired by Martin Kavanagh, global co-head of Herbert Smith Freehills Africa Group, who will be joined by Darcie Allen, G3 Good Governance Group’s Head of Africa, as well as partners in Herbert Smith Freehills Africa Group, Peter Leon, Nina Bowyer, Bertrand Montembault and Calvin Ho.
