As previously reported on this blog platform (here), Together Against Sizewell C (TASC) applied to the court for permission to bring a claim for judicial review against the Secretary of State's decision to grant development consent for the Sizewell C new nuclear power station project. On 18 October 2022, Mr Justice Kerr refused permission on all seven grounds, concluding that none was arguable.
The refusal of permission for TASC to bring a claim follows the withdrawal of a claim submitted by the RSPB one day after the deadline, as previously reported.
