Reporting for Duties – new limited podcast series
Consultation on Australia’s new climate reporting regime has closed and 30-June year end reporters are rapidly finalising packs for boards across the country. But how will new ESG-drive reporting standards impact reporting? What are we seeing across on changes to practice? And how do boards position themselves to discharge their reporting obligations with care and diligence, and align to stakeholder expectations? This limited podcast series will offer short snapshots on key issues over the FY23 reporting season.
Our first six episodes traverse:
- Modern slavery incidents – Disclose or case closed?
- The incoming climate reporting regime: setting the framework
- The incoming climate reporting regime: who needs to report and when?
- The future of the ASX Corporate Governance principles
- Climate scenarios and financial reporting
- Does ESG oversight require a dedicated SusCo?
We will add to this series over the FY23 reporting season, so please contact us if there are issues you would like us to cover.
Please also see our ‘deep dives’ below on Australia’s proposed climate reporting regime, and the global ISSB standards to which Australia will be aligning.
