There are so many ESG-related publications and developments that it is hard to keep abreast of them all. For this reason, every two weeks, our firm has been publishing a tracker of ESG-related publications and developments, with a primary focus on developments that may be of most interest to or impact our clients, be they corporates, asset managers or asset owners.
Key updates covered in this edition include:
- the IFRS Foundation’s International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) has announced they will be releasing the finalised versions for the first global standards for sustainability and climate-related reporting in June 2023;
- the European Central Bank (ECB) announced the publication of new statistical indicators aimed at helping to analyse climate-related risks in the financial sector and track the progress of the sustainable finance market;
- the Spanish Government and the Autonomous Regions agree to invest €478 million of European funds in sustainable tourism projects; and
- the Spanish Government awards €104.52 million to 119 projects to modernize municipal markets.
If you have any ESG-related questions, please get in touch with your usual contact at HSF who will be able to direct you as appropriate.
