Implementation of the Whistleblower Directive: a roadmap for multinational companies
Almost all EU Member States have now implemented Directive (EU) No. 2019/1937 “on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law” (the “Whistleblower Directive”) and the last deadlines for companies to put whistleblowing processes in place passed at the end of last year.
Members of our Corporate Crime & Investigations team from offices across the EU have compiled a publication that summarises the particularities and minimum requirements, -in each of the Member States,- of the national legislation that has transposed the Whistleblower Directive.
This guide constitutes an instrument of particular interest for all companies that operate in different countries of the European Union and that want to establish internal systems that guarantee compliance with national legal requirements in this matter.
