Last week, we posted the second in our series on the compulsory purchase regime in England, the aim of the series being to provide a user friendly explanation of the various elements of the process to give a listener a good understanding of the basics of compulsory purchase law. In the second episode we discussed how a CPO is justified, having covered in episode one what compulsory purchase is and the different types of compulsory purchase powers.
