Abbie specialises in energy and infrastructure project development, joint ventures and other strategic transactions.
Abbie has worked as the General Counsel of a UK power developer, advising on its capital and debt raise process, contracting and procurement strategy and regulatory issues, as well as acting as its Company Secretary.
Abbie advises clients on greenfield project development, brownfield redevelopment and long term commercial contracts, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors and general corporate advisory work. Having worked across private practice and in house as a General Counsel and Company Secretary, Abbie is able to provide pragmatic, solutions focused advice to boards.

- General Counsel and Company Secretary of Sizewell C, a UK nuclear project developer, advising the boards and internal stakeholders including on M&A processes, economic, nuclear and environmental regulatory compliance, engineering and construction and corporate governance*
- advising Acciona and Jones Bros on the construction, operation and maintenance aspects of a bid for a road PFI*
- advising Electricity Holding Company (a subsidiary of the Government of Oman) in relation to its sale of distribution and transmission assets in Oman
- advising High Speed 2 Limited on the procurement of its rolling stock
- advising a UK Government Department on the procurement of an 11 lot programme for the development of design, management and engineering services*
