Amanda Fajerman

With over 20 years of experience in legal, technology, and consulting roles, Amanda is passionate about helping lawyers solve business problems using data and technology. Her experience spans both in-house and private practice sectors on the legal side, as well as vendor consulting and product development, design, and implementation on the technical side. Amanda brings strategic insight, strong stakeholder relationships, and expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic design to deliver impactful solutions for her clients.

Amanda is currently on the Board of the Australasian Legal Technology Association (ALTA) where she is Chair for WALTA (Women of ALTA).  In this role, Amanda has driven the creation of theWiLD.law; a directory to promote, make visible and findable women in legal technology. She was a Finalist, Individual Achievement Award, ALPMA Business of Law Awards, 2024 Finalist, Rising Star, Women in ICT Awards 2023, Winner, ALTA Champion for Change, ALTA Awards 2022 and Finalist, Innovator of the Year, Women in Law Awards 2019. She is also an inaugural member of the A2J (Access to Justice) Network.

Passionate about legal technology and innovation, Amanda is an active member of the legal tech community, participating and presenting at events, engaged in formal and informal mentoring, promoting thought leadership, the sharing of ideas and content, and evangelising use cases of Copilot in the legal industry.

Background

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science from the University of New South Wales, and has completed her Practical Legal Training with the College of Law Victoria. She is admitted to practice as a Solicitor in Victoria.

She also has a Mediation Accreditation from the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, and Power Platform Certification.
