Amorkor is an associate in our energy, natural resources and infrastructure team based in Paris.
Her practice focuses mainly on mergers, acquisitions and disposals, joint venture structuring, project development, general corporate and commercial matters in the power, infrastructure and natural resources sectors in Africa, France/Europe and other emerging markets.
Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills in Paris in 2022, Amorkor worked for over three years in the Melbourne office of another major Australian law firm, where she gained significant experience in infrastructure and M&A transactions.

- a confidential client on its investment in the development of LNG import facilities and related infrastructure across various West African jurisdictions (review and drafting of the Shareholders Agreement)
- an infrastructure investment fund on its minority equity investment in a natural gas distribution project, including liquefaction plant, and related services, in East Africa (JDA and key terms of the shareholders agreement)
- Hainan Mining Co. Limited on its USD 117.75 million investment in the Bougouni Lithium project in Mali, in a transaction with Kodal Minerals Plc, a lithium focused development and exploration company
- State of Victoria on all aspects of the procurement and development of a $15.8 billion (AUD) tolled road private public partnership in Melbourne, including tender documentation and evaluation, project documentation, negotiation, contract close and contract administration*
- a Private equity firm on the acquisition of 12 cybersecurity companies, including due diligence, regulatory approval and completion documentation*
