Amy is an experienced litigation solicitor. She works closely with clients and the wider Disputes teams throughout the Herbert Smith Freehills global network.
Since joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Amy's work has included a high profile and large-scale remediation scheme.
Amy qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and has extensive experience in defendant insurance litigation.
Amy is a member of the Pro Bono Network.
Background
Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Amy worked as a solicitor at a global law firm in the city of London, specialising in defendant insurance litigation, dealing with high value and complex claims. During her time there, she assisted in writing the 12th Edition of Binghams & Berrymans Personal Injury and Motor Claims Cases.
Amy has also spent time teaching law at both undergraduate and postgraduate level for which she was awarded a Fellow in Higher Education. During her time teaching she ran the university's pro bono Law Clinic, which was shortlisted for The Student Access to Justice Foundation Award.
