Background

Andrew graduated from Monash University in 2001 with a BA (Hon) / LLB (with Honours) and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and holds a NSW legal practising certificate.

  • Ashe Morgan and BlackRock on the freehold acquisition and subsequent indirect disposal of Crossroads Homemaker Shopping Centre. *
  • Cabot on the fund-through acquisition of four Victorian logistics properties and the acquisition of a multilevel logistics property in Milperra, NSW. *
  • Centuria on its indirect acquisition and triple-net leaseback of a major hydroponics agricultural property in Warragul, VIC; and on its acquisition of glasshouse assets in VIC, SA and NSW. *
  • ESR on numerous acquisitions and disposals of logistics properties, including the acquisition of a 20.8-hectare former clay pit from CSR Building Products, and the acquisition and joint venturing arrangements of a green field development site in VIC. *

  • Lewis Land on its $350 million rights of pre-emption in relation to the $700 million Gold Coast Harbour Town premium outlet mall co-owned with Lendlease and on the sale by Lendlease to Vicinity.*
  • Mirvac on various transactions, including the acquisition of 477 Collins Street, Melbourne; disposal of a mixed use Como Shopping Centre, South Yarra, disposal of a multi-jurisdictional portfolio of assets including a 50% interest in 275 Kent Street, Sydney; and its acquisition of strata units in 2 North Sydney commercial buildings to form a blocking stake under the NSW strata renewal legislation.*
  • M&A and business sale transactions: Undertaking real estate due diligence, contract negotiation and change-of-control consents in respect of target companies and businesses both in de-merger, on-market and hostile takeover contexts.*
