Ashleigh Penhall

Ashleigh is responsible for supervising legal analysts to deliver high quality legal review on litigation, arbitration, internal and external investigations, contentious regulatory and due diligence matters. 

Whilst based in the Digital Legal Delivery team, Ashleigh often assists the broader Dispute Resolution team. Her experience includes assisting on International Arbitrations and trial preparation for Class Actions. 

Ashleigh is keenly interested in leveraging legal technology to create efficient, high quality and cost-effective outcomes for clients.

Ashleigh has a diverse range of experience. Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Ashleigh worked in employment and immigration law before working at national firms dealing with personal injury and superannuation matters.

Background

Ashleigh obtained her JD at Monash University and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Melbourne. She is admitted to practice as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
