Brendan Tabb
Brendan is a Solicitor in the Digital Legal Delivery team.
Brendan has assisted and acted in consumer related litigation claims and claims assessment on behalf of a number of clients in the UK & NI, and he has experience advocating on behalf of clients in County Court.
Brendan assists in the support of Digital Legal Delivery’s Disputes matters and supporting instructing teams throughout the Herbert Smith Freehills global network to provide high quality outcomes for clients. He has an experience in a range of domestic, European and international disputes and regulatory investigations with a focus on banking and financial services litigation and regulation. Brendan has assisted and acted in consumer related litigation claims and claims assessment on behalf of a number of clients in the UK & NI. He has experience in resolving disputes pre proceedings and via mediation.
Whilst working at Herbert Smith Freehills, Brendan has assisted clients including:
- a multinational client in a large-scale review involving multiple parties and multiple issues for relevance, privilege and commercial sensitivity. Assisted in developing guidance in relation to utilising Continuous Active Learning in order to cut off review
- assisting in investigations during and flowing from a public inquiry
Background
Brendan graduated with a bachelor's degree in Law from the Letterkenny Institute of Technology in 2013 and went onto complete a Higher Diploma in Corporate Governance and Public Policy in Queens University Belfast in 2015. He was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 2021.
