Caora Mackell
Caora is a Solicitor in the Digital Legal Delivery team in Belfast.
Caora works closely with clients and other teams throughout the Herbert Smith Freehills global network to provide high quality outcomes for clients.
Caora has developed extensive experience working on a range of disclosure reviews, claims assessments and other matters and has been in a supervisory role since her time as a legal analyst.
In recent years, Caora has been heavily involved on a high-profile and large-scale remediation scheme. As part of her role on this project, Caora supervises teams of legal analysts and solicitors to deliver high quality services and outcomes for a retail client.
Caora also has experience in the corporate team in the Belfast office as well as the pensions team in the London office.
Caora was the co-lead of the Charity and Fundraising Network in the Belfast office for a number of years.
Background
Caora joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a legal analyst in 2013, received a training contract with HSF in 2018 and qualified in 2021. She holds a BL (Law and European Studies) from University of Limerick and LLM (Criminal Justice) from University College Dublin.
