Charlotte Knox
Charlotte is a Manager in the Digital Legal Delivery team, based in Belfast.
Charlotte has experience in data protection, commercial contracts and corporate law matters across a variety of sectors, including in the financial sector. She has experience working on various privacy related projects including in relation to GDPR compliance and cross-border data transfers. She has recently completed a secondment in the Privacy Legal team at Goldman Sachs.
Since joining Herbert Smith Freehills in 2018, she has helped to strengthen the Digital Legal Delivery's Corporate capabilities in data protection, working on repapering projects following implementation of GDPR, BAU client support workstreams and further recent repapering projects in light of updates to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and adoption of the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum.
Background
Charlotte is qualified in Scots law and previously worked for an international law firm in Scotland before joining Herbert Smith Freehills in Belfast. As well as her recent secondment to Goldman Sachs, she has also undertaken secondments to two other financial institutions.
