Claire Rossell
Claire is a Senior Associate in the Corporate M&A team.
Claire has advised on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions, corporate restructures and other general corporate advisory matters. She has a particular focus on inbound financial investors and supports Herbert Smith Freehills’ Australia-Japan corridor team.
Claire joined Herbert Smith Freehills in 2023. Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Claire worked for a leading New Zealand law firm in Auckland, New Zealand.
Background
Claire holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland. Claire was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the High Court of New Zealand in 2019 and as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2023.
