Conan Chen
Conan is a corporate lawyer advising on private funds matters.
Conan advises international and regional sponsors and managers on a variety of fund formation matters, including on the establishment of private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds and other alternative and bespoke transactions such as co-investments, secondary transactions, joint ventures, club deals and managed accounts.
Conan also has extensive experience in advising investors including sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors with respect to their investments in various private fund products.
Background
Conan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law. He is qualified to practise as an attorney in New York, USA. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, he was a Registered Foreign Lawyer in the private funds group of two US-headquartered international law firms.
Conan is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English. He also has basic Cantonese language skills.
