Charlotte is an Of Counsel in the planning team of our London real estate department.
Charlotte has considerable experience advising on nationally significant infrastructure projects. Charlotte spent 18 months on an in-house secondment with EDF Energy, advising on the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C nuclear power station projects. She is also very experienced in advising on major, high profile planning appeals. Charlotte advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious planning and development law, including on environmental impact assessments, compulsory purchase and judicial review.
Charlotte is listed as a Next Generation Partner in the Legal 500 Planning rankings and is described as "a key contact, advising across infrastructure and residential issues". Chambers and Partners lists Charlotte as an Associate To Watch and states that “She's just super-smart; she has the ability to see both the big picture and the detail, and she knows the law really well in technical areas“.
Charlotte is a member of the National Infrastructure Planning Association.

- Cuadrilla Resources in relation to its planning applications to carry out hydraulic fracturing (fracking) at two locations in Lancashire
- Gatwick Airport Limited on its development consent proposals to bring the existing Northern Runway into routine use
- The Bazalgette Consortium on its successful bid to become the Infrastructure Provider for the multi-billion pound 25km Thames Tideway Tunnel
- Land Securities in respect of the development of a new garden town comprising approximately 10,000 dwellings in Essex
