Clémence specialises in intellectual property, data privacy, information technology and technology transactions.
She advises clients on intellectual property matters, helping them from the creation, exploitation and enforcement of their IP rights. This includes drafting and negotiating contracts, such as licensing agreements, assignments, non-disclosure agreements, and technology transfer agreements.
Clémence assists clients in drafting and negotiating IT agreements, in particular software licences (on premise and SaaS) and provides insights on expanding legal requirements related to IT security and operational resilience.
Her work also involves supporting clients with gap analysis, assessments, and recommendations concerning data processing, as well as assisting in drafting internal policies. Her expertise spans advising on direct marketing, data subject rights, in particular sensitive data access requests. She has experience in managing cross-border data transfers and handling data breaches.
Clémence further assists clients involved in large-scale, multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence on intellectual property, data protection, and IT aspects, as well as advising on risk assessment and the adoption of new technologies to ensure compliance with emerging regulations, including those related to AI.
Background
Clémence holds a Master of Law from the Université de Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne and an LL.M. in European Intellectual Property Law of Stockholm University.
