Danbee Kim

Danbee oversees the delivery of legal and legal technology services in the United States, collaborating closely with teams in UK and EMEA. Based in New York, she leads both the Legal and eDiscovery teams comprising Legal Review Attorneys and eDiscovery specialists, delivering eDiscovery and document review solutions for complex disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters.

Danbee has over 13 years of experience in eDiscovery helping clients navigate legal and regulatory challenges through defensible workflows and advanced technologies, including analytics and technology-assisted review. Her expertise encompasses optimizing processes, managing cross-border projects, and providing efficient, client-focused solutions.

Background

Danbee obtained her LLM from the New York University School of Law and her LLB and LLM from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea. Her career began in litigation, providing her with a solid understanding of the legal challenges clients face.  As a Relativity Master, she is certified in range of advanced eDiscovery tools and techniques.  Before joining Herbert Smith Freehills, she worked at a global professional services firm, where she delivered eDiscovery and legal technology services in complex and cross-border matters.
