David is an associate in our German Regulatory practice.

He advises national and international companies in public commercial law.

David focuses on regulatory advice for M&A transactions with a strong focus on foreign direct investment reviews by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action as well as projects in the energy and mining sector.

Background

David graduated from the law school of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. During his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court Hamm, he already worked for our Düsseldorf and our London office.

  • ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust plc in relation to its listing on the London Stock Exchange which included advising on the acquisition of seed assets comprising solar power plants in India and the Philippines
  • City of Ahaus in administrative proceedings against the permit issued to in relation to the nuclear intermediate storage facility in the local district of Ahaus
