Dennis Heller
Dennis is a Legal Review Attorney in the Digital Legal Delivery team where he is responsible for conducting and consulting on reviews in US and global Disputes matters involving third-party actions, litigation, government inquiries, and internal client investigations.
With over 15 years of experience in complex document review matters, Dennis is responsible for review and advising legal and global review teams on efficient processes and US-specific areas of law.
Additionally, Dennis has experience in large-scale document reviews related to regulatory, civil, and criminal matters, including FCPA, AML, and class action litigation.
Dennis' experience includes:
- Multiple large-scale litigation reviews related to M&A transactions involving banking, pharma, and energy sector entities
- Client responses to SEC, FTC, and DOJ inquiries
- Internal investigations for clients in banking and private sectors
Background
Dennis obtained his JD from Albany Law School, where he was an editor of the Albany Law Review, and master’s degree in Library Science from the University at Albany.
Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Dennis was a Staff Attorney at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP. He is admitted to the New York bar.
