Frances has a broad range of dispute resolution experience across both banking and general commercial litigation, primarily advising banking clients on a variety of complex international and domestic claims. Frances also has experience of contentious regulatory work and has spent time at three major global banks on secondment to the litigation and investigations teams, providing her with invaluable insight into the internal workings of financial institutions and the challenges they face.
Frances has worked on some of the most prominent and high-value cases of the last few years, involving multiple parties, Group Litigation Orders and contentious regulatory investigations.

- UBS on its successful defence of High Court proceedings brought by Decura Investments relating to an alleged termination event under a joint venture agreement
- UBS on its successful defence of rescission claims brought in Iceland by Kaupthing, Glitnir, and Landsbanki in relation to various bond repurchases entered into shortly prior to those banks’ insolvency
