Hassiba Ahmar is a Senior Solicitor in the Digital Legal Delivery Disputes practice in Australia.

Hassiba is responsible for supervising teams of legal analysts and solicitors to deliver high quality legal review services for high-volume and document-intensive legal work. This includes information-intensive work on litigation, arbitration, internal and external investigations, contentious regulatory and due diligence matters.

Hassiba works closely with her colleagues across Digital Legal Delivery’s global network, comprising legal practitioners, legal analysts and eDiscovery and technology specialists, to support and enhance outcomes for the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Hassiba practised across a broad range of disputes matters in multiple jurisdictions with a focus on providing practical and commercial advice. Her experience includes advising and representing clients in the areas of workers’ compensation, telecommunications, youth crime and child protection.

Combining her background in disputes and experience working with Digital Legal Delivery’s cutting edge technology, Hassiba delivers products and services to clients which are innovative, timely and cost effective.

She is fluent in both spoken and written Dari and Pashto.

Hassiba holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne.

Hassiba is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
