Hugh advises our clients in a broad range of property disputes. Hugh has vast litigation experience, guiding clients through various commercial disputes including real estate, contractual and Companies Act disputes.
Hugh has an in-depth understanding of property law and advises clients on contentious landlord and tenant work such as business lease renewals, forfeiture, breach of covenant actions, trespass, break clauses, tenant arrears/insolvency, service charge and dilapidations.
Well versed in alternative dispute resolution Hugh finds practical and commercially sound solutions for our clients.
Hugh also assists the transactional real estate team and advises on transactional and development matters such as rights of light analysis, vacant possession strategies, the operation of break clauses and contractual negotiations.
Background
Hugh is a dual-qualified solicitor, having qualified in Ireland in 2021. His experience focussed on commercial property, banking and dispute resolution before joining us in 2023. Hugh is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the London Irish Lawyers Association.
