Imogen is a Senior Associate specialising in international arbitration in the Asia-Pacific region.

Her practice includes both commercial and investment treaty arbitration matters. She also advises clients on private and public international law issues. 

Imogen has acted for clients in arbitrations under the ICSID, ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, and LCIA rules, and in State-State dispute settlement mechanisms. She has also worked on disputes with a variety of applicable laws, including those of Singapore, Hong Kong, England, Korea, China, Pakistan, Thailand, Australia, and customary international law. In addition, she has experience in a wide range of sectors, with a focus on TMT, energy, and finance sectors.

Imogen speaks and writes on international arbitration issues. She is also a member of the ACICA45 Steering Committee, and the Expert Advisory Committee for Working Group III (Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform) of UNCCA. In addition, she is an Australian Ambassador for the Arbitration Lunch Match

Background

Imogen holds a Master of Laws in International Dispute Resolution from the Queen Mary University of London, and Bachelors of Laws and Business from the Queensland University of Technology. She is admitted in Victoria, Australia. She is currently completing the Asialink Leaders Program.

Before joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Imogen was an Arbitration Associate to a leading international arbitrator.
