Jay is an income tax partner based in our Sydney office, with a particular focus on corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Jay is a transaction tax specialist experienced in advising corporates, financial institutions, private equity, and other managed funds on a wide range of tax-related matters. His expertise spans corporate mergers and acquisitions, restructures, IPOs, capital management programs and financing transactions.
Background
Jay holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne. Jay was awarded the B J Shaw Law Prize and the Frank Pinkerton Scholarship at the University of Melbourne, and a University of Oxford Law Prize in Taxation.
Jay has authored several thought leadership publications and is a regular presenter at tax conferences.
