Jeremy is an intellectual property lawyer in the Trade Marks and Branding practice.

Jeremy is a trade mark specialist who brings a highly commercial lens to his matters. He has deep experience in handling all aspects of the trade mark lifecycle including brand clearance checks, registration of trade marks, oppositions and infringement matters. 

Jeremy manages the global trade mark portfolios of significant Australian and international clients in all industries. He utilises his detailed knowledge of international trade mark law and negotiating skills to achieve strategic and cost effective outcomes for his clients. Jeremy also regularly appears before IP Australia in contentious matters.

Jeremy has been ranked as a top trade mark lawyer by the WTR 1000 for several years.

Background

Jeremy has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. He joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a graduate and is admitted to practice in Victoria.
