Jo is a commercial disputes lawyer in the insurance and professional risks practice.
Jo specialises in complex commercial disputes, with experience in ADR, litigation and arbitration. Jo has a particular interest in advising policyholders and brokers on claims and coverage issues, and has previously worked on claims under professional indemnity, cyber, credit risk, business interruption and W&I insurance policies. Jo also has experience advising on professional negligence claims, including for solicitors and brokers.
Background
Jo graduated from Durham University with a first class degree in History. Jo joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a trainee in 2016 and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2018. During her time as a trainee, Jo spent six months on secondment in our Paris office.
