John is a Senior Solicitor in the Digital Legal Delivery team in Belfast.
John is an experienced litigation lawyer in Herbert Smith Freehills' Digital Legal Delivery Disputes team in Belfast. John works closely with clients and colleagues across the Herbert Smith Freehills global network on a range of UK domestic, European and international disputes and regulatory investigations.
John is experienced in implementing efficient processes and utilising the latest legal technology to provide clients with innovative and cost-competitive solutions in high-volume and document intensive legal work.
As part of the Digital Legal Delivery's Belfast team, John is often involved in the supervision of teams of legal analysts and solicitors in order to deliver high quality legal review assistance on financial services and contentious regulatory matters for the firm’s clients.
John has worked on multiple matters for international corporate clients involving the Financial Conduct Authority and The Pensions Regulator.
John is currently on secondment to a major financial services company and is part of a large team working on a remediation project involving a compensation scheme directed by an independent review panel.
John has previously worked with The Prince's Trust as a business mentor, providing help and guidance for new business start-ups.

John attended Campbell College, Belfast and graduated from Queen's University, Belfast. Before joining Herbert Smith Freehills, John trained with a market leading corporate firm in Belfast and Dublin, gaining experience in Real Estate, Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Finance.
