John is a senior associate in our dispute resolution team.
John advises clients on an array of contentious and regulatory matters including commercial disputes, professional negligence claims, privacy and reputational matters, and mass actions. John draws on his wide-ranging experience including litigating matters at all levels from the County Court to the Supreme Court, as well as employing alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as mediation and arbitration. His clients include major financial and professional services institutions, technology and media companies, and high-net-worth individuals.
Before qualifying as a solicitor, John worked as a researcher at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and King's College London, during which time he published several articles on topical issues relating to mediation and arbitration and was consulted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in preparation of the World Investment Report 2016. John was also seconded to Google for 6 months during his training contract, where he was able to work on various high-profile disputes and regulatory matters.
Background
John holds an LLB from the University of Durham and LLM in International Commercial Law from University College London. He completed the Legal Practice Course and MSc at the University of Law and was admitted as a solicitor in 2019.
