Jonathan is a senior associate in the Energy Transition and Infrastructure Finance team in London.
Jonathan advises lenders and sponsors on the development, acquisition and financing of cross-border energy and infrastructure projects, particularly in the oil and gas, LNG, petrochemicals, critical minerals and energy transition industries.
He has advised on a wide range of complex financing transactions, acting for a range of sponsors, private equity funds, lenders, export credit agencies, and development finance institutions on transactions ranging from financing of greenfield natural resources projects to the acquisition and financing of natural resources assets and infrastructure, including ports and airports, power, water, district heating/cooling, care homes and pre-schools.
His experience also covers structuring and development of natural resources and energy transition projects across the value chain, including negotiating oil, gas and LNG offtake agreements. He has particularly experience advising clients on structuring and development of projects in the oil and gas, LNG, and ammonia sectors, including on equity investment, acquisitions and divestments.
Jonathan's experience spans projects and assets in Europe, the United States, Africa, Central Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

Jonathan is qualified in England and Wales, and holds a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter.
