Julia is a senior associate in the corporate division. She has particular experience working with insurers, banks and other financial services clients. Julia has worked on a wide variety of corporate transactional matters, including M&A (acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures), Part VII insurance and banking business transfers, reinsurance and other transactions transferring risk from defined benefit pension schemes. Julia also advises listed and non-listed clients on a range of regulatory issues.
Julia spent six months on secondment to the Corporate and M&A legal team at Lloyds Banking Group in 2021.

- ReAssure on the Part VII transfer of the Mature Savings Business from Legal & General, which transferred approximately £30 billion of assets and over 900,000 policies
- Waverton Investment Management on its merger with London & Capital, with Lovell Minnick Partners taking a majority shareholding in the combined business, to create a leading independent wealth management business
- The Ardonagh Group on its acquisition of the Swinton Insurance group from MMA Holdings UK Plc, part of the Covéa Group
- Willis Towers Watson on its acquisition of Acclimatise Group Ltd, a climate change advisory and analytics company
