Kate is a commercial disputes lawyer in the insurance and professional risks practice.

Kate specialises in insurance disputes, assisting policyholders, brokers, and insurers with claims and coverage issues across all types of insurance. She has a particular interest in directors and officers (D&O) and civil liability (PI) insurance. Kate has also acted on significant claims involving public and products liability, construction, employment practices liability, and marine insurance.

Kate also represents solicitors firms, barristers and insurance brokers in professional indemnity claims.

Background

Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University and was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2015.
