Kristin Northway
Kristin has significant experience in international and domestic resources, energy and infrastructure projects.
Kristin assists with negotiation and drafting of project agreements and joint venture agreements for exploration, production and processing projects and has significant experience undertaking purchaser and seller due diligence on mineral, coal, gas and energy assets.
Kristin advises on the legislation regulating new resources projects and project expansions including limitations of current tenure, required authorisations to explore and produce and strategies for obtaining appropriate land tenure or access rights. In addition, Kristin advises on arrangements for rail and port capacity and procuring supply of water, electricity and gas and other goods and services for resources projects.
Kristin is also experienced in drafting commodity supply agreements for export and domestic sales and in preparing and working with standard suites of documents for commodity sales and procurement of equipment and major and minor works and services for resources, energy and infrastructure projects.
Background
Kristin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Queensland, Master of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Queensland.
