Mark Shields

Mark is responsible for drafting and negotiating a range of corporate and funds related documentation and assisting in the due diligence of funds related marketing material for legal and regulatory compliance.

Mark has extensive experience across corporate and finance having practiced with regional and international law firms. Throughout this period, he gained experience drafting corporate documentation and engaged with bank standard form and LMA precedent contracts. Mark has completed a secondment with the in-house legal department of Ireland's largest bank and worked within the legal division of a global investment bank. He has co-ordinated cross-jurisdictional input from local counsel for various global re-organisations and lead large scale due-diligence projects for some of the world's most recognised corporate entities.

Background

Mark graduated from Queen's University of Belfast with a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) before completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP University and working as a dual qualified Solicitor for England and Wales, and Northern Ireland.
