Maisie Ko

Maisie is an experienced corporate lawyer, advising on initial public offerings and listed issuer compliance matters.

She advises banks and underwriters and works closely with issuers in various sectors, in particular the biotechnology and healthcare sectors.

Maisie has spent time on secondment at Goldman Sachs with its IBD legal team, where she advised on both equity and debt capital market transactions. She was also seconded to the Policy team of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and assisted in driving multiple policy initiatives.  

She is a member of Herbert Smith Freehills’ Emerging Technology Group, a global group of specialist lawyers advising clients on digitalisation projects.

Background

Maisie graduated with a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Bristol. She is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong, and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
