Nikolai is a senior associate in our construction and engineering team, who is based in our London office.
Nikolai is a member of our construction and engineering practice with experience of working on construction and engineering projects, domestically and internationally, across traditional oil & gas as well as renewable power, mining and infrastructure sectors. Nikolai has a solid experience of working on downstream projects (including all aspects of project procurement and technology licensing as well as onshore / offshore pipelines) and renewable power and energy transition projects (including development of solar farms, battery energy storage systems, carbon capture infrastructure and green ammonia plants).
Nikolai works with clients on a wide range of contracts including EPC/EPCM/EPCI/EPSS contracts, FEED and early works agreements, supply-only contracts, technology licenses, engineering services contracts, O&M contracts and LTSAs. Nikolai's experience in working with such wide range of contracts in both traditional oil & gas and green energy / energy transition sectors let him acquire unique practical legal and commercial insight which benefits the firm and expands our capability in responding to clients' demands.
Clients are expecting our team to understand their projects not only from a legal point of view, but also from commercial, financial and technical. Nikolai is able to offer such complex and integrated advisory. He is able to work both in English and Russian and knows his way around most of the sector’s most used types of contract arrangements.
