Rory is an Associate in the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure practice group.
Rory is focusing on developing his skills in the Project Document space and has a particular niche in understanding new generation technologies and their requirements from a regulatory and contractor perspective. Rory has experience in developing Project Documents in foreign energy markets with a particular focus in the SADC Countries.
Background
Rory obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and law, a Bachelor of Laws and an LLM with distinction from the University of Witwatersrand.

- Scatec in respect of the Project Documents for a number of solar PV projects and BESS to be bid in ESIPPPP in both South Africa and Botswana
- BW Kudu and BW Energy on the use of the gas from the Kudu Gasfield in gas to power plants as IPPs in Namibia and the review and drafting of a PPA between BW Kudu and an entity in Namibia
- Seriti Green on its renewable energy project and PPA for Seriti Power
- Confidential sponsors on their bid response to the DHA border post RFP, which project will be project financed
