Ryu Long
Ryu has experience in advising Japanese and international clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
Ryu is a senior associate within the corporate practice in Singapore. He has experience advising Japanese and international clients, including Japanese trading houses, on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters with a particular focus on cross-boarder M&A, joint ventures and investments. Ryu also has experience across a wide range of industries including TMT, consumer, manufacturing and industrials.
Ryu has extensive in-house experience through his secondment to the legal department of Sumitomo Corporation. Ryu is dual-qualified to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia and as a solicitor in England and Wales.
Background
Ryu holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Nottingham University School of Law (United Kingdom) and a Masters of Laws (Honours – Cum Laude) in Banking, Corporate and Finance Laws from Fordham University School of Law (New York). Ryu is a native English speaker and also speaks Japanese fluently.
Ryu is dual-qualified to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia and as a solicitor in England and Wales.
