Tahmina Ahsan
Tahmina co-leads our Digital Legal Delivery Disputes practice in Australia.
Tahmina is responsible for managing various workflows on large scale reviews within Digital Legal Delivery Disputes practice. In particular, she works closely with the instructing teams to design bespoke review platforms to promote efficiency in high volume and complex document review exercises.
She has experience in leading large teams of qualified lawyers and legal analysts to ensure the delivery of high quality work in a cost effective and timely manner.
Before joining Herbert Smith Freehills in 2016, Tahmina practised as a lawyer in a Disputes team and Banking and Finance team. She then moved to a Restructuring and Insolvency speciality team. Tahmina’s experience involved providing commercial and strategic advice to Financial Institutions, Corporate Advisory firms and Accounting firms across a broad range of issues and includes appearing on contentious matters in the Magistrates Court, District Court and Supreme Court of Western Australia as well as the Federal Court of Australia.
Background
Tahmina holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Commerce degree from Murdoch University in Western Australia. Tahmina is admitted to practise as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
