Tania has experience acting for clients on a range of complex commercial and fraud disputes before the courts and international arbitration tribunals (ICC, LCIA, LMAA). Tania has expertise in investigations, tracing misappropriated assets and obtaining critical interim applications, including time-sensitive injunctions (anti-suit, freezing), security for costs, evidence preservation orders and third-party disclosure orders.
Tania has also acted for clients in high-value complex insurance and reinsurance disputes. Tania has advised insurers on policy coverage issues for different types of insurance products, subrogation claims and represented insurers in arbitration proceedings.
Tania is passionate about pro bono and was an advisor at the South Westminster Legal Advice Clinic in London. She has advised pro bono clients on commercial, consumer rights, housing, employment and immigration issues. She was also part of the team involved in helping Zambrano carers to obtain the right to remain in the UK under the EU Settlement Scheme.
Tania is fluent in French and has experience representing clients from Francophone countries in English law matters.
Background
Prior to relocating to Dubai, Tania trained and practised at an international law firm in London. During her training contract, she was seconded to the General Counsel team at American International Group (AIG) for six months.
