Theo is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice based in Düsseldorf.

Theo specialises in complex cross-border dispute resolution, with a particular focus on commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration, and public international law. He has been involved in arbitrations under different rules including ICC, UNCITRAL, DIS, and ICSID.

He has experience with disputes in the construction, energy, mining, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.

He is a member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association, DIS40, and ASA Below 40.

Background

Theo graduated from the universities of Cergy-Pontoise (Licence), Durham (LL.M.), and Düsseldorf. He has been admitted to the German bar in 2024. During his legal traineeship, he had seats at HSF in Frankfurt and London, and at the German embassy in Lithuania.

Theo is also a lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

A native French speaker, Theo is fluent in English and German, and proficient in Ukrainian.
