Tom Allen
Tom is an experienced competition, consumer and regulatory lawyer, advising clients on merger clearances, consumer law and regulatory investigations and third-party access disputes.
Tom advises clients across a variety of sectors, including energy, mining, transport/infrastructure, financial institutions, consumer products, technology, and telecommunications.
He advises on all aspects of competition law, including merger clearances, authorisations and notifications, ACCC and regulatory investigations and enforcement. Tom also has a variety of experience acting for clients in relation to energy regulatory matters and investigations, and third-party access disputes.
Background
Tom has a Juris Doctor (Master of Laws) from Monash University and a Master of Laws (Global Competition and Consumer Law) from the University of Melbourne.
Tom is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
